Ranking and Grading Information

A student’s grade-point average (GPA), which is cumulative from grades 8-12, appears on his/her transcript and is computed both on weighted and non-weighted systems, using semester grades. Honors classes -- including AP, Collegiate, and Dual Enrollment coursework -- are weighted with one extra quality point. Class ranking is based on weighted GPA. The grading system is as follows:

Grading Scale

  • A - 90-100
  • B - 80-89
  • C - 70-79
  • D - 65-69
  • F - 0-64
